Cisco Router 1900

We have a Cisco Router Cisco 1900, and our ISP told us that our config (below) has the wrong duplex setting. They want us to change it to 100 FULL.

1. What is the command to change the duplex to FULL (without restarting the router).
2. What if the link goes down, how do I revert back to the old settings (AUTO)?

interface GigabitEthernet0/0
 description Internet via $ETH-WAN$$FW_OUTSIDE$
 ip address 209.xx.xx.xx 255.255.255.252
 ip access-group 101 in
 no ip redirects
 no ip proxy-arp
 ip verify unicast reverse-path
 ip flow ingress
 duplex auto
 speed 100
 no mop enabled
interface GigabitEthernet0/0
spped 100
duplex full
sh int gi 0/0  will show the current settings .
show int --> shows half duplex.. did u apply the commands
regarding question number 2 ...  no need to restart .
just change the duplex to  auto ( duplex auto)
or
int gi 0/0
shut
no shut.
The other end could also just not be Cisco 1900 sereis router, sometimes disparate hardware requires that you force the GB connection to Full.
The standard is to set 1Gbps connections to auto, but when it first came out we often had to force it to get it to work with some hardware.
Sometimes when the duplex negotiation fails it will fall-back to half-duplex.  Therefore it's not correct to say that the other end is definitely set to half.  Negotiation could fail for a number of reasons, including manually specifying the speed.

The main reason ISPs specify manual speed and duplex settings is because they want to mitigate any chance of auto-negotiation failure which would result in half-duplex operation and therefore reduce support incidents.

Cisco 3750 web config

Is it possible to config Cisco WS-C3750X-24T-L Price with some http Html/Java software instead of cli ?
I am not very familiar with this switch.

If I understand correctly,

1. the 3750 is addressed at 10.0.10.10.
2. You are able to telenet to that address and manage the device from the console.
3. http://10.0.10.10 results in a 404 error

If that is the case, you may want to perform the troubleshooting steps outlined in the Getting Started Guide referenced above, carefully following the procedures step by step.

Other things to try:
* Be sure that HTTP services are enabled (which they should be by default).  If they're not you can login via console and enable the HTTP services :
c3750>enable
c3750#conf t
c3750(config)#ip http server
c3750(config)#exit
c3750#wr mem

l       Upgrade the operating software, or if you've recently upgraded the operating software, you may want to be sure that the upgrade was successful.  The 3750s are rumored to be picky about how they're upgraded and the gurus at the Cisco Support Forum suggest upgrading with the ".tar" image and using the "archive download-sw" command to do so.  This has solved the problem for others, but I can't speak from experience.

GBIC and SFP Information Specifications

When configuring bill of materials, some times ago, in Cisco’s Nextgen configuration tool available in commerce workspace, I found a new fiber modules in the option list. Tried to investigate what are those and that leads to the below findings.

Surprisingly found that Cisco announced end of sale for GLC-T. While GLC-XX-XMD= is the replacement product for GLC-XX-XM.

PrimusIT offers cost-effective standards-based compatible Cisco Transceivers. Just compatible Cisco SFP transceivers include: multimode optical modules GLC-SX-MM; Single-mode optical module GLC-LH-SM, GLC-ZX-SM; SFP copper module GLC-T; DWDM/CWDM SFP; 2.125G SFP transceiver module; 4G SFP module; BIDI SFP optical transceiver; SFP with DDM transceiver such as GLC-LH-SMD and so on.

The 1000BASE-LX/LH (long wavelength/long haul) GBIC module interfaces fully comply with the IEEE 802.3z 1000BASE-LX standard. However, their higher optical quality allows them to reach 6.2miles(10 km) over single-mode fiber (SMF) versus the 3.1 miles (5km) specified in the standard.
