Cisco 2801 Router with HWIC-1ADSL card. How do I get the router to 'see it'

I have a Cisco 2801 Router and i'm attempting to install a HWIC-2T    card for use with my ADSL2+ service.

I usually configure 877 routers which don't haved an additional card.  Each time I insert the card into Slot 1 (which is the specified slot for this type of card) and run a SHOW DIAG command, it returns the details:

WIC/VIC/HWIC Slot1:

Unknown WAN daughter card

WIC model not supported/disabled in this slot

I'm using the correct card as specificed.  Are there any Telnet commands that need to be entered in order to make the card 'live' or am I missing something!

Most likely an IOS issue.  You need to be running 12.4(4)T at a minimum.

Thanks for that, the the same advise that I;ve just this second received from Cisco. WS-X45-SUP7-E    I've checked and the IOS is 12.4(3i), release software  (c2).  I'll try and obtain and upgrade to the most recent version.
